Sarah received a call from a member. He lives in Florida and was in town that day. He was leaving to Florida that afternoon. He needed to get a cashier’s check replaced because he spelled the name wrong on the previous cashier’s check he sent out. The issue is that the recipient was in Florida so there was no way to get that check back. Our branch staff is new enough that none of us were familiar with the procedure on how to get this fixed. Sarah spent about 2 hours tracking down the right person to get this check replaced. The normal person we would have called was not in the office. Once we knew what to do, Sarah kept in communication with the member. There was some back and forth, and not to mention a deadline to get this check replaced before he had to catch his flight… Sarah worked through her lunch break, kept a very steady and patient approach in a very frustrating situation. She was able to help out the member, before he had to catch his flight, and the entire time with a smile and positive attitude. Sarah has this approach everyday and is such an incredible asset to Connections Credit Union!
