Debt Card Dispute

I had the opportunity to help one of our members, Kristina, with a debit card dispute. This month Kristina came into the Emerald branch understandably distressed. A substantial value of fraudulent charges pending in her account, her painstakingly saved money was gone. She explained she was closing on a house in a few days, and with her current negative balance didn’t know what to do. Together with help from the contact center we were able to resolve the issue by dropping the pending charges, force posting them, and depositing her provisional credit in a timely manner. We love helping protect our members from fraud, and assisting them in achieving their financial goals – like becoming a home owner!
