Creative Consolidation

We had a member come in to speak with Cecilia about what his options could be for a consolidation loan, he said his monthly payments all together were too much. He felt with gas prices going up and monthly payments he rarely had any money left-over. He wasn’t sure what route to take. We pulled credit to see what would be best, we pulled the value on his home but unfortunately there just wasn’t any equity. So, after pulling value on his auto, we realized there was plenty of equity there to consolidate multiple loans AND get his monthly payments to an affordable payment. He expressed multiple times how grateful he was for us just taking the time and not rushing. He mentioned his primary financial institution wouldn’t even take the time to work out multiple scenarios once the home equity didn’t work out with them. He sent Cecilia a thank you through email, when his first payment was due.
